"Just about every track on Field Manual would fit comfortably somewhere in Death Cab for Cutie's catalog, and Walla's singing voice even turns out to be cut from the same cloth as Ben Gibbard's... Too often, though, Walla takes the easy way out. Obviously, a host of issues-- from downtime to headlines-- compelled Walla to make this record, and his effort shows. What's missing is a compelling reason to listen."
If anything, i think pitchfork is being a little too nice. I expected a lot more from this record. And it didn't really deliver. Oh well.
Also, i found a blog about Bigfoot by this guy:

His name is Thunderhawk, 33 from Oregon, and he has "been involved in the Bigfoot search off and on for 16 years." As a fellow Bigfoot comrade i just had to plug him in here. Go check out his blog for yourself. It's fucking great.
