Goodnight technologist
I got the new album from The Main Drag a few weeks ago but I've been so busy with my hobby/true passion--multivariable calculus--that I didn't have a chance to open it. (Actually, I've been catching up on the HBO programming that I was missing out on during a recent two year stretch without the network. How did I live without "Curb Your Enthusiasm"?)
Anyway, the album is damn good. It's like John Vanderslice with Death Cab for Cutie accessibility. It manages to put radio-ready standout singles (there must be radio stations cool enough to play this somewhere) in the context of a whole album that never falters.
They've got quite a bit of internet buzz going already--they were named Salon.com's best unsigned artists after basically turning Garageband.com into a personal fiefdom--but I'm sure they'd appreciate your support. Check them out.
