i've Been Cloverfielded
so i just saw Cloverfield. i won't give anything away, but i have to say it meets the hype if you're an old school creature feature nut or a Hitcockian terror type of guy/ gal. it really does add a new spin on classics like Godzilla and just like a stripper it teases you throughout with only small glimpses of the monster for about 99.9% of the movie. what's scarier than the unknown right? to run with the stripper simile, i think when it's released on DVD and it you spend more money on her she'll bring you in back for a lap dance and show even more of the monster. when the time comes, i'll be ready to shell out the extra cash even though i know there's no sex in the champagne room.

man, isn't this a little off topic? god forbid this blog turn into a kitchen sink affair like indeedindeed.com. and no, i don't want to see cloverfield. even if it does have tentacles for a mouth, like every h.p. lovecraft demon ever. tentacle mouths are sweet.
