I REALLY don't want to link to the Phoenix's On the Download blog, because it has the single most annoying advertisement of any website I visit on a regular basis. I don't even know what exactly is being advertised, but when you open the page it plays a loud, ten second sound clip that always pisses me off, especially when I'm wearing headphones.
Anyway, I'm going to link to them anyway because it's almost certainly not the writer's fault that the page has such an alienating ad, and yesterday they posted the very interesting news that Berklee is opening an all ages, student-run music venue. I'm picturing a much more mainstream Che Cafe, but I'm probably dreaming. I just hope they allow punk shows.
