Lo-fi video at its lowest fidelity

I recently bought a really cheap digital video camera. The results have been fun, the quality mixed.

I hadn't heard of this band Evangelicals, though I guess they get a lot of love from the internet-indie industrial complex. I enjoyed them--it was gleefully over-the-top psychedelic Bowie rock. I had fun:

Nick introduced Headlights to me and about ten thousand others. Here's one song by them:

Finally, I can't remember if I posted this or not, but here's Bedford Academy playing at Bill Bar's for a ton of kids. I got about 20 minutes of their set, until the batteries on the thing died:

that's towers, the second to last song off of some racing, some stopping. that is a good one. i also like the title track and a song called market girl. you should do more amateur youtubeage.

the Evangelicals fucking rule. if they added some more crazy synths they would definitely be "the little Flaming Lips." it seems so weird how big Headlights have become.

i check out those other vids...was there actually problems with the pa or was that just your sound quality? it seemed like that poor girl had to keep having it tweaked at the start of every song...whatever happened to soundchecks and whatnot.

also, they definitely benefit from a second guitar player. i would have liked to hear the opening of tokyo with that lap steel part in there.
