I had heard vaguely that Motor City blues rock/punk rock legends Bantam Rooster were reunited, and now there's news that they're doing a show (shows?) with a French band called Jettators (who play classic Detroit-style garage rock and are coming to the D to record.)

The Jettators/Bantam Rooster shows are apparently going to happen in May. Southeast Michigan people (read: my brother) should try to get there.
