Southern California burns to the ground... again + Complaints!

Ash falling out of the sky and the sun hidden behind red-tinted clouds? Must be fall somewhere between Ventura and Tijuana. Happens every once in awhile out here. Not that much fun. Go read about my soon-to-be ex-home's crisis here (though how cool is it to say you've lived somewhere that a capital-S capital-E State of Emergency happened?).

Allow this to be reason #3,796 why Tiffany (the Dr Girlfriend to my Monarch) and I are moving away from this place at the end of February, out of California and on to better things, to Boston, and in with the ReC (this is true, by the way, if you reading masses hadn't heard via other people complaining about how much I've been complaining, and yes, I'm going to push him hard to use samples exclusively from my large collection of mid-'90's indie rock). Other notables: expect music from one of these kids and a couple of these kids in the coming months.

Oh, hey, and Lanterns are playing with HMR friends Colossus of Roads and quasi-major label/ex-lots of better bands These Arms Are Snakes at Che Cafe in San Diego on November 10th.

So now that I've whored my friends and complained about how much I fucking hate living here and leaving in just about four months will be the best thing that's happened in my 23 years, I'll depart.

Hey, San Francisco, hi-five for Ribbon Fix and the 16th & Mission Review.

Hi Jerry! Hi Leo!
