I don't care about the Grammys whatsoever (I didn't even know they were happening), and I think Kanye West will survive (it can only make him stronger.)
Still, it feels weirdly pretentious that they would gave their album of the year award to a Herbie Hancock collection of Joni Mitchell covers. I like Herbie as much as the next guy, but I had no idea that album existed.
Or maybe it was a tribute to the late Chris Farley's classic film Tommy Boy.

i think that it's really funny how fickle and narrow minded the Grammy's are. i mean who really thinks Kanye's new album is the best hip hop album. it's just ridiculous.
however, i have two words for you: Amy Winehouse. she's a goddess. she knows she a train wreck and it just drives her more and more. she should give lessons to all these trashy American artists on how to be crazy and make it work. her performances are just heartbreaking. it's like she's going to fall apart at any second.
